Thrust is a reaction force described quantitatively by Newton's second and third laws. When a system expels or accelerates mass in one direction the accelerated mass will cause a proportional but opposite force on that system.

I’m not really certain why I have this blog, especially since I concur with Lewis Black’s opinion about them. I’m not a writer and do not pretend to be one.

Oh wait, now I remember why I registered here . . . simply so I could make and have a cool gravatar for my posts on someone elses wordpress blog, namely, Michael Wilson’s.
